Google Bard gains image generation capabilities

Google Bard is the company’s answer to OpenAI’s ChatGPT. You can ask it questions and it will give you answers. But what if you wanted to generate images? Previously you would have to use tools like OpenAI’s DALL-E, but not anymore. Google has announced that they are bringing image generation to Bard.

This is part of the latest update to Google Bard where users can now type in image generation prompts and the AI will cook up something on the fly for them. This is powered by Google’s Imagen 2 model. It’s pretty cool because now proponents of Bard will have one more compelling reason to use Google’s AI tool.

Image generation seems like a natural progression of its capabilities. Google says that for now, image generation will only be available in English.
